Quality & safety guidelines
Permisoft exists so buyers can trust perpetual desktop software. These rules mirror what curated app stores expect: safe binaries, honest positioning, and real utility.
Perpetual ownership only
- No required subscriptions, SaaS-only access, or recurring fees to use core features.
- Updates may be paid separately, but the purchased version must remain usable offline.
Safe for customers
- No malware, cryptominers, or deceptive installers.
- Clear privacy policy if you collect data; no hidden telemetry.
- Binaries distributed only through Permisoft after approval—not direct vendor download links on the store.
Genuinely useful software
- A clear problem solved for a real audience—documented in your submission.
- Stable demo build: installs, launches, and demonstrates core value.
- We decline template reskins, placeholder UIs, and mass-produced “AI slop” with no distinct utility.
Desktop-first
- Native or Electron/Tauri desktop apps for Windows and/or macOS (Linux optional).
- Single-machine licence activation via Permisoft keys (see Integration guide).
